There is a lot going on and tonight - it is the opening of these events. Manofim (sorry the website is only for the hebrew readers) initiative is a collaboration between many art spaces in Jerusalem that will go on for the next couple of weeks and will expose "the rich and unique cultural and artistic activity that goes on in the city in it's diversity".

i am slow slow slow

i don't know why i didn't post here the one night exhibition that i was part of a Puerta Cerrada last month. just swamped with other things on my mind i guess. photos from that night can be found on my website. here is a sample from my work which was an installation called Dejame que te hable también con tu silencio (a line quoted from a Pablo Neruda poem).

reading

this wonderful book. it makes me dizzy almost when i read it, its like being inside a
maelstrom. The book is אישה בורחת מבשורה which would be translated literally - a Woman Running Away from News, written by David Grossman, i think the translation to English would be: Till the End of the Land (couldn't find the book in Amazon to put a link - probably the book hasn't been translated yet).

norway

finally sent my things to norway!! so proud of me, even if i am the only one knowing this, it has been so hard lately and i am managing slowly slowly.
also, i am working on the piece for the exhibition in munich (which will open in november). exciting things are happening.
and since not much celebration is going on here lately, i will get a nice chocolate chip cookie to eat and listen to this:

it is beautiful here

looks like an interesting exhibition, wish I had wings to get there.

and good news! the weather forecast for this week is only up to 36 degrees max.! we won't get to 40's!

moments of despair

when I put Nina down in her crib for her nap, after being totally asleep, she wakes up the moment up put her there, and she is completely awake. There goes my half an hour of freedom.
despair.

finding it hard

I am finding it harder and harder to publish my work here on the internet. I feel really bad about people that copy my work or down right steal it. Don't know how to solve this problem and still be able to get some feedback on my art. I wonder how do other people deal with this problem, do you just ignore it and keep working and publishing?
so instead here is a link to an interesting exhibition in NYC at the Queens museum of art, and an interview with the curator.
have a great day.

the reason

so this is the reason why I have been behind in writing here.
I had no idea she will be so time consuming, and still figuring out how to be able to read more than two lines at a time in a book.
The wheels in my head have slowed down, but I'm sure this cannot go on forever.. right?..
